The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) has invited 16 players to its men’s senior camp in Lagos ahead of the African Cricket Association (ACA) tournament scheduled to hold from March 20 to 28. The NCF said in a statement that Mr. Oboh Omoigui would temporarily be in charge of the team pending the reconstitution of a new technical crew. The first and second trial matches were held on January 7, 2020, while the third and fourth exhibition games held on Wednesday. “The Technical Director of NCF will coordinate the trials in the absence of Mr. Omoigui, who will be in charge of the team on an acting capacity. “The U19 boys will be selected based on their performances in the warm-up to ICC World Cup,” it added.
